Streetfest 2013
I think I may have forgotten to mention this but it's Streetfest coming up in a week today!! One again I am very happy to announce that I'm painting. I love painting at this event, it's a PARTY! Last year was a great year, with so many artists' painting, and the word is there are a lot more! I've been following the announcements on the Facebook page and it's gotten me so excited! There are great acts too... but it's the graff writers that I mainly go for!
Grab your tickets and join us!

Save Southbank skatepark
This is something dear to my heart, so I ask anyone who can support to do so.
Lambeth Council want to close down/ relocate this classic spot to build new retail ventures. I'm guessing this is to increase revenue in the area.
Southbank for a couple of decades, maybe an extra, has been a haven for skaters. It's the one skate park that really represented a street spot in London. I started skating here back in 2002. I used to go on night skates with a few of the skaters that brought me up in the scene. A night skate would usually include Shell Centre (Shutdown), Shallow Banks (shutdown), Southbank, and then maybe Nightrider Courts.
Back then the Southbank spot was longer, behind the wooden boards is the rest of it, 2 small banks/ or a drop depending how you use it, a slope, and plenty of flat space.
There are skate spots in different cities of the world that are a must hit if you get to the cities and Southbank is the one for London. For a council to ignore this is disgusting.
Please sign the petition, help keep this location.

Is spring here?? finally??
So yesterday was the nicest day we've had this year! It was the brightest and warmest.. it lasted a couple of hours. It's been pretty rubbish in the U.K... really want to move. Anybody up for hiring me in another country? preferably Spain, Southern America, I may settle for the States!
A spectator ased me what the name of this charter is... I real do not know.

Jeba hits Barcelona
I was meant to post this up last week, but been busy with the Streetfest T-shirt competition.
So like any writer/ painter, I want tp paint different cities, so obviously Barcelona s a must. It was a bit of a struggle to find walls before I had got there so I will be sharing my knowledge for any one who is looking to paint Barca.
I got this info from a writer I bumped into a bar, he literally drew the map out for me on the back f a receipt and that was my guide!!
So I was travelling from central Barcelona so my first point of travel was the Renfe [train] from Catalunya. NOT the Metro. From there I got a train on the 3/Red line to Sants.
From Sants you jump on the R2/Light Green Line or R2 Sud(Dark Green line towards Sant Vincenc de Calders. You will be getting off at Villa de Cans.
I warn you, make SURE you do some research into the train times as info graphics in Barca are damn poor! There are no maps, train times/ schedules on the platforms, and I ended up getting on the fast train way past my stop.
Now on the train you may get freaked as it looks like you're going into the country side, it is a pretty agricultural environment but believe me it's worth it.
When you get out the station at Villa de Cans take the right and walk on the left side of the road. You will go up a hill to a main road then cross the road to the left. From here you'll see a grass verge.. You are THERE!
just keep walking down this path |
Just keep walking straight and you get to a ditch... Then BOOM!! At least 2miles of wall space from what I could see. I made it to the amber nectar!!
Let the games begin!
