Secret Walls X Cass Arts X Liquitex @ The Garage

Thursday night was a fun one, haven't taken part in this in a while. Myself and Alfa were put head to head against Candy Lo and Hicks at Secret Walls at the Garage n Highbury.
Sponsored by Cass Arts and Liquitex the special touch to this event is that we got to use spray paint!! Yes People that is right Spray Paint indoors! Go OOOOONNNNN!

Ok so Liquitex have released an acrylic based spray paint. There fore no fumes (well it smells slightly like vodka). Now at the touch it feels similar to the pressure of a general can we are used to like MTN94 e.t.c. The difference is the application. It doesn't dry as fast, so you have to be careful and not much allowances for those who are used to cut backs for those fine details. However this does allow a great deal of space for blending and creating some really good drip effects, marbling, and a quite possibly great for combining brush marks. I'm personally looking forward to using these on a large canvas. My preferred brand for canvas work has been Montana Gold however I think these may be great after getting used to them.
